Tutoring Approach: 

As a physics major, a strong foundation in mathematics was essential to my success. The rigorous process of deriving mathematical relationships taught me to appreciate how the world behaves in precise, quantitative terms. My tutoring philosophy is centered around helping students discover the beauty of mathematics by connecting it to real-world applications.

Over the years, I’ve supported early graduate-level engineering students in applied mathematics, as well as medical students in interpreting and extrapolating data from clinical studies. One of the most consistent pieces of feedback I receive is how empowering it is for students to truly understand the meaning behind the numbers and expressions they encounter.

Additionally, my experience as a research assistant in a hospital setting equipped me with hands-on skills in statistical analysis using tools like RStudio, Stata, SPSS, and Microsoft Excel—tools I often integrate into my tutoring when relevant.
