Chemistry regent is given to all NYC public schools students upon their completion of chemistry class.
To prepare for chemistry regent, the best sources are Barrons's Regents Exams and Answers: Chemistry, the Physical Setting and Let's Review Chemistry: The Physical Setting (Barron's Review Course).
There is also a source with free old chemistry exams and answers that could be found on http://www.nysedregents.org/chemistry/
Since regent is a standardized exam, doing a lot of practice is key to your success. Start by doing an exam in the red regents book and going over the explanations in the back for the questions you got wrong or were not sure about. This will also help to identity your weak areas that you can review further with the blue regents book. Do as much practice and as many exams possible. Make sure to understand why the answers you got are wrong and how to avoid making same mistakes next time.
Once you have done all of the exams in the red book, you can continue to the website I showed above for more practice.
