Solution:
Heat equations can be found in Table T on the Reference Table. The equation for melting is q = mHf where q is heat, m is mass and Hf is heat of fusion. Hf of water can be found in Table B on the Reference Table. It is 334J/g. Mass is given in the equation.
We get q = 26.2g*334J/g = 8750.8J, choice 1 is the correct answer.
